We stopped here yesterday for a quick lunch while traveling through Clinton, and we are so glad we did! Service was excellent and the food was delicious! We ordered the lunch fajitas and the lunch special #2 (chili relleno and taco). Having lived in Central Texas for many years and visiting Mexico several times, I have pretty high standards of what constitutes good Mexican or Tex-Mex, and El Camino Real did not disappoint. We'll definitely come again the next time we travel through Clinton!

I had a chicken chimi with rice and a jalapeno margarita! Both were very tasty. I really liked the chips and salsa too. The waiter was attentive and friendly. We were there late, even after closing, oops I didn't realize it was that late. We were never rushed. I would return!

We had a friend recommend this place we showed up with no clue on what we wanted. We asked the server for a recommendation. He recommended the burrito rip and it was incredible. There's enough cheese sauce from the top of the burrito pulled up around it that you could finish off everything with chips in the end and it was great.

The best value Mexican! Great portion sizes, fresh and tasty. Good service and nice size booths to sit in. Margaritas are huge! The shrimp is fantastic value and you can make your own tacos from the shrimp plate. Chips and salsa refills. Highly recommend!

Good food at great prices. Best of the best was the “Special dinner” (a little of everything), two plates full of tasty food. Kitchen was awesome, we were a party of seven - the kitchen cooked our food and it was brought out to so exceptionally quickly. All very hot, and looking and tasting great. Our visit didn’t start the best, we arrived and stood in the entry around three minutes before being acknowledged and the place was nearly empty, unsure what took so long. We were seated and 10 minutes later we were asked for our orders, after which chips were brought to the table. Finally, we requested very spicy salsa and were told they had it and would bring it out; it was never brought out.

This place is always ALWAYS great! We stop everytime we are coming back to Overland Park from Branson, and they never disappoint! Their steak n chicken street tacos are the best. And their portions are huge! Prices are great as well. Highly recommended.
